We had Green Leaf Hardwood Floors install hardwood floors on our main floor of our newly purchased house; the challenge was to match the exiting older dark hardwood floors present in the hallway, entrance and living room of our rancher. The end result was perfect. The uneven sub floor in the bedrooms was levelled superbly, the floors blended smoothly and seamlessly with the older wood and with the bathroom marble tiles and french doors. It was the small details that impressed us even further. The planks were perfectly cut around the pipes of our hydro heating system. Even the fine details of corner finishing inside the closets were done with precision. Service was fast, very reliable and professional. (Chris)  obviously takes pride in his craftsmanship and it is evident in the end product. Since then we received many complement on our new floors. Chris Kusba, and all of his staff from Greenleaf Hardwood Floors were extremely polite, professional, and attentive to this demanding client’s needs. I am PICKY!  My project involved refinishing red oak parquet and transform it miraculously from a pinkish colour into a gorgeous warm pale driftwood gray.  It took a long time to custom blend and test the stain colour and ensure that the wood bleach would not adversely affect my flooring. Furthermore, we worked with other difficult to source products to achieve the matte look I wanted with a tough finish. Chris was very generous with his time and I get tons of enjoyment from my custom floors and lots of compliments too!

Chris Kusba, the President, understood and shared my idea of rehabilitating the hardwood floors in all our guest rooms. Restoring is bringing them back to how they looked when the hotel was built in the early nineteenth century. That is not what I wanted. It would have been extremely costly and maybe impossible. Our 1910 hardwood floors were hidden under old carpets and many of them had layers of paint. And as rehabilitation addresses contemporary social needs and uses, the work done on the floors added more value to our property. Our hardwood floors look  just lovely!

It was a great pleasure working with Chris and all his team. They even finished the project ahead of time, allowing us to book the rooms and start getting ROI.
